While traveling to visit my dad in Louisville, Kentucky this morning, I made a pit-stop for the sweetest photo-op with a precious 1-year-old!

Since it was her first birthday, we celebrated this big milestone. I’ve been so excited for the past couple of months after the session was booked to try out the “all-popular” SMASH-CAKE!
It’s true that it is just as fun as it looks! I’ve never seen a 1-year-old sit that still:) She not only enjoyed making the mess, but actually loved every bite!

She would even offer me a pinch in between bites – such a sweet girl! This may just one plus of doing child photography 🙂 

As I was heading out the snow was falling and so beautiful, we decided to take the opportunity to snap a quick family photo.
