She’s All Grown Up! {Georgetown Photographer/Lexington Photographer}

While traveling over the holidays I saw lots of family and snapped a few special pictures during my time away.  One of the first stops we make every year is a special house hidden within the woods in the hills of Tennessee…my Grandparent’s. My grandmother asked me to take some updated pictures of the grandkids while visiting.

We had so much fun taking pictures together! Laughing, some chose to cooperate, some not cooperating at all ;)…..then the dog wouldn’t get out of the shot – you know the “true story” of how it really goes:)
I’m starting to learn the rumor is true. Your own family/kids are definitely the hardest to photograph as a photographer!

Needless to say, I still got it…. or maybe it was the model.

Meet my cousin Alex! Oh, and tell her Happy Birthday:) She turns 17 next weekend.
I’ve watched her grow into a beautiful young lady, with a contagious smile and an enormously giving heart.

Happy Early Birthday Alex! I love you cuz 😉
